WinCan AG invites a frontend-focused developer to join our team, shaping web-based tools for reviewing sewer inspection data and AI-assisted results. You will predominantly build frontend features in Angular/TypeScript while also implementing selected backend APIs in C# and ASP.NET Core.

The role balances 70% frontend work with 30% backend, integrating processing results into intuitive user interfaces and collaborating with product owners, designers and engineers.

Qualificações

• Experience with modern Angular (17+) and TypeScript.
• Experience building web apps with interactive/data-driven UI.
• Experience integrating frontend apps with REST APIs.
• Basic knowledge of C# and ASP.NET Core (async programming, .NET 8+).
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews and automated testing.
• English at least B2.
• Ability to work from Kraków office 2x/week.

Position Overview:

You will join a team developing web-based tools for reviewing and analyzing sewer inspection data. Your primary focus will be interactive frontend visualization of individual 3D scans, inspection video, annotations, and results provided by AI-based processing services. You will also develop selected backend APIs and integrations using C# and ASP.NET Core.

This is a frontend-focused full stack role, with an approximate balance of 70% frontend and 30% backend. The position does not involve developing or training AI models. Instead, you will integrate processing results into the product and turn them into intuitive tools for end users.

Product Description:

WinCan Web is an established cloud platform that supports sewer inspection companies, municipalities, and infrastructure management organizations in reviewing inspection data and assessing underground infrastructure.

It is integrated with WinCan AI, a collection of AWS-based processing services. Depending on the available project data and selected workflow, these services can reconstruct 3D models from video, identify structural components, and detect structural defects.

The product has evolved over many years and continues to be actively maintained, modernized, and extended. The developer joining the team will focus on the parts of WinCan Web directly integrated with WinCan AI, including frontend visualization, backend APIs, processing workflows, and related data integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain modern frontend features using Angular and TypeScript.
• Build interactive tools for presenting inspection data, measurements, detected objects, video, and 3D scan results.
• Develop and improve annotation features for images and video.
• Contribute to backend APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Integrate frontend features with REST APIs and handle asynchronously generated results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development practices.

MUST HAVE requirements:

• Commercial experience with modern Angular (17+) and TypeScript.
• Experience building web applications with interactive or data-driven user interfaces.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.
• Basic practical knowledge of C# and ASP.NET Core, including asynchronous programming concepts (.NET 8+).
• Familiarity with common software development practices, such as Git, code reviews, and automated testing.
• English - B2 level or higher.
• Ability to work from office in Kraków 2x/week (60 Podole Street).

NICE TO HAVE requirements:

Experience in any of the following areas would be helpful, but we do not expect candidates to be familiar with all of them:

• Image or video annotation tools.
• Cloud concepts such as object storage, queues, containers, or event-driven services, preferably in AWS.
• Presenting results produced by computer-vision or machine-learning systems.
