Job summary

KUBO is hiring a Frontend Software Engineer to join an international team building aviation software. You will own frontend features, write tests, and collaborate with product owners, UX designers, backend engineers and QA to deliver high-quality user experiences.

The role requires 3+ years in frontend development, React/TypeScript, and experience with MUI, testing tools, and modern build tools. Hybrid work in Gdańsk is offered, with salary to be discussed and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Experience with a component library such as MUI (Material UI).
• Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with frontend unit and integration testing (Jest, Vitest, Testing Library, or Cypress).
• Experience with React ecosystem technologies (Next.js, React Query, Redux/RTK, Context, or Hooks).
• Experience with Docker and containerized development environments.
• Knowledge of modern build tools such as Vite or Webpack and frontend performance optimization.
• Understanding of CI/CD and test automation.
• Experience mentoring other engineers or participating in technical design discussions.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.

Frontend Software Engineer – React / TypeScript

Join an international engineering team developing software for the aviation industry. The team works on advanced systems and electronic solutions supporting aircraft, including navigation, flight controls, and information systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own frontend features end-to-end, from implementation and testing to delivery
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests
• Participate in code reviews and share best practices with other engineers
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver high-quality user experiences
• Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and standard branching and merge request workflows
• Work in Docker-based development environments and collaborate with DevOps/OS teams
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, technical discussions, and continuous improvement
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science or a related technical field
• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development
• Experience with a component library such as MUI (Material UI)
• Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with frontend unit and integration testing, using tools such as Jest, Vitest, Testing Library, or Cypress
• Experience with Git and code review workflows
