Job summary

Skywise, a leading digital services company owned by Airbus, invites you to join its Software Factory as a Frontend Software Development Intern in Gdansk. You’ll help build responsive web applications within a microservices architecture, using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks.

You will work in an Agile team, write tests, participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and gain hands-on experience across frontend architecture, UI design, and component testing.

Qualifications

• Student in final years of university studies (CS/SE or related field).
• Available for part-time hours per week.
• Experience with core web technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and software design practices.
• Familiar with Git and testing principles.
• Fluent spoken and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop clean, maintainable web application features and resolve UI bugs based on technical specs.
• Write and run unit, component, or integration tests to maintain software stability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, follow team coding standards, and adhere to clean code principles.
• Collaborate with team members in daily Agile activities to debug issues and identify root causes.
• Maintain clear technical documentation for tools, features, and UI components.
• Communicate project status, blockers, and solutions within the team.
