Job Overview

AIstats is looking for a Frontend Developer to help build next-gen football analytics products. You’ll work with Nuxt 4, Vue 3, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS to create fast, responsive, and scalable applications used by fans and professionals worldwide. Key Responsibilities

• Building the core application with the Nuxt 4, Vue 3, and TypeScript stack.
• Designing the state architecture using Composables and Pinia, ensuring it is safe for Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
• Ensuring high standards of performance, security, and accessibility.
• Delivering a responsive and intuitive UI with Tailwind CSS.
• Designing and versioning API contracts in close collaboration with the backend team.
• Implementing observability tools, logging, and metrics for effective troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 3+ years of production experience with Vue.js and Nuxt.
• Strong experience with the Vue 3 Composition API and Nuxt 3 or 4.
• Proven experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
• Hands-on experience with Vite.
• Node.js fundamentals for SSR, tooling, and scripting.
• Experience with state management using Composables and Pinia.
• Experience building responsive UIs with Tailwind CSS.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• English proficiency at a B2 level or higher.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PostCSS.
• Experience with Socket.io or native WebSockets.
• Familiarity with Firebase services like Messaging and Remote Config.
• Experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude).
• Experience with variable fonts, SVG, and Lottie animations.
• Knowledge of privacy principles and user consent controls.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines from scratch.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Goals for the Probationary Period

• Initialize repository, tooling, TypeScript config, linting, and testing.
• Draft architecture and security baseline, and auth flows.
• Agree API contracts with backend.
• Build the first UI shell, layout, navigation, and design tokens.
