Job summary

Outokumpu Oyj is seeking an experienced Front-end Engineer to develop and maintain scalable applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. You will collaborate with architects, designers, backend developers, and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions and drive front-end best practices.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on React/TypeScript experience, strong UI/UX understanding, and fluency in English. Knowledge of Azure cloud technologies and AI tooling is a plus.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with architects, designers, backend developers, and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions. Drive front-end best practices, coding standards, testing, and code quality. Contribute to AI-native development processes, including workflows, tooling, and documentation. Support technical decisions and mentor colleagues as a front-end expert.

What You'll Bring

5+ years of experience with React, JavaScript (ES6+)/TypeScript and production-scale applications. Strong knowledge of responsive design, REST APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices. Experience building clean, tested, and maintainable code. Understanding of UI/UX principles and translating designs into applications. Experience using AI tools for development and productivity improvements. Experience with Azure cloud technologies and DevOps practices is a plus. Ability to lead technical discussions and define standards. Fluent English communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with Vue.js.
