Job summary

Mars is looking for a Trade Finance Analyst with French in Warsaw. This role involves calculating TREX accruals, reconciling balance sheets, and supporting the Trade Promotion Management system.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in finance roles in FMCG, strong Excel skills, and fluency in both English and French. This position offers attractive benefits including bonuses, life insurance, and a modern office environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar position for a FMCG multinational company in accounting & finance.
• Experience in Order to Cash/TREX, especially connected with customer rebates, sales support or order management.
• Expertise in managing internal/external audit requests.

Responsibilities

• Calculating TREX accruals in close collaboration with Key Account Managers.
• Reconciliating selected balance sheet accounts using the BlackLine system.
• Supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the TPM system as a Key User.
• Verifying trade-related payments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Reviewing invoices and providing instructions for the processing of related credit notes.
• Setting up and maintaining price lists and promotional activities in line with business agreements.
• Ensuring all necessary documentation is reviewed and approved in a timely manner.
• Analyzing and negotiating the resolution of rebate audit queries raised by retailers.
• Collaborating with Sales and Finance teams to resolve queries and manage customer deductions.
• Ensuring sound governance of the trade budget, including support during internal and external audits.
• Performing reconciliations between financial systems to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Participating in cross‑functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
