Job summary

Amer Sports Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented analyst to join the Global Transportation Audit & Analytics team in Kraków. The role focuses on validating freight invoices, investigating discrepancies, and driving cost efficiencies across transportation functions.

You will work with Excel to reconcile varied datasets, support accruals and reporting, and partner with internal teams and external auditors to strengthen freight processes.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, P2P, R2R, freight audit or data analysis.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to work with and reconcile different data sets.
• Good understanding of financial processes, such as invoices, accruals, reconciliations or cost allocation.
• Fluent English and high attention to detail.

What you will be doing

• Review and validate freight invoices against agreed rates and expected costs
• Investigate discrepancies and manage invoice disputes and cost recoveries
• Take ownership of the freight audit process and work closely with our external audit provider
• Support the freight audit process together with internal teams
• Analyze freight data, identify recurring issues and uncover cost-saving opportunities
• Support accruals, reporting and transportation cost analysis
• Participate in system, carrier and distribution center implementations, including testing
• Turn audit findings into practical improvements and help strengthen our transportation processes

What you need to succeed

• 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, P2P, R2R, freight audit or data analysis
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to work with and reconcile different data sets
• Good understanding of financial processes, such as invoices, accruals, reconciliations or cost allocation
• Interest in transportation and logistics - you don't need to be a logistics expert; we'll help you learn
• A proactive mindset and the confidence to spot issues, ask questions and speak up when something doesn’t look right
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders and external partners
• Ability to prioritize, organize your work and operate independently
• Fluent English, high attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
