Job summary

Lingaro Group is seeking a Fullstack Data Scientist on a part-time freelance basis in Poland. You will lead GenAI solution design, build end-to-end applications, and collaborate with data engineers and product owners.

You will balance architecture, experimentation, and governance, mentoring others, and staying current with GenAI trends. Flexible project-based engagements with remote-friendly setup are offered.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Science/AI engineering.
• 4+ years production-ready Python AI code development.
• 2+ years production-ready LLM code development with RAG.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for AI solutions.
• Generative AI expertise with LLMs, chatbots, and agents.
• Understanding of LLM evaluators, validators, and guardrails.
• Hands-on with GenAI frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph.
• Strong Python production-grade code, packaging, and testing.
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure/GCP/AWS).
• CI/CD, testing, and containerized deployments.
• Excellent English communication; collaboration with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and solution design for GenAI use cases and translate business problems into architectures.
• Build end-to-end GenAI applications: data ingestion, retrieval layer, orchestration, API/backend, and UI where needed.
• Design and implement RAG pipelines with vector DBs, hybrid search, rerankers, and evaluation frameworks.
• Perform model selection, prompting strategies, and fine-tuning for text, code, and multimodal models.
• Implement safety, compliance, and governance controls including PII handling and audit logs.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product owners, and full-stack developers on scalable architectures and SLAs.
• Mentor data scientists/engineers in GenAI patterns and contribute to internal libraries and templates.
• Stay current with GenAI landscape and perform targeted PoCs to validate new approaches.
