Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support the Global Fund Services (GFS) business in Europe. The role partners with business leaders and finance colleagues to deliver insightful financial analysis that informs decision making.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in FP&A, advanced Excel skills, and experience in financial services. The position requires working from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week, with hybrid work in Europe.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of FP&A experience in financial services or funds industry.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and planning.
• Advanced Excel skills (index/match, pivot tables, financial modelling).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work through large datasets.
• Experience with ERP or EPM tools (Oracle/Essbase) is an advantage.
• Proven experience supporting senior stakeholders and building partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly forecasts and provide insights highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to quarterly rolling forecasts and annual planning cycle.
• Assist in preparing financial plans and models for GFS leadership.
• Lead or support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning processes.
• Prepare variance analyses with commentary against budgets and forecasts.
• Produce monthly/quarterly/annual management packs for Finance Leadership.
