Job summary

Clipbook is hiring a backend-focused engineer to join a small, high-impact team building core systems and scalable APIs for 200+ clients. You will own feature development end-to-end, from design to production, with emphasis on reliability and security.

You’ll work with AI-in-production features, data pipelines, and modern cloud infrastructure, using Docker/Kubernetes, AWS, and big-data tools as you scale the platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and scaling production systems.
• Strong backend fundamentals and distributed systems expertise.
• Willingness to learn and expand breadth over time.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect & build core systems, owning feature development end-to-end.
• Integrate AI into real-world workflows using LLMs and ML models.
• Design scalable systems to support growth and prioritize investments.
• Develop performant APIs and services with reliability and security.
