Job summary

Cross Border Talents is assisting in finding a Founding Engineer to join an early AI startup focused on agentic AI products in Warsaw. You will build production-grade AI systems, shape architecture, and own critical components from day one.

Based in Warsaw or willing to relocate, you will join a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment with significant equity (1–2%) and the opportunity to influence product direction and technology foundations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience shipping AI agents to production.
• Experience building B2C products used by real customers.
• Strong understanding of agent observability, evaluation, reliability, and cost management.
• Previous experience as a founder, founding engineer, or early engineer at a fast-moving startup.
• Strong system-design and software-engineering fundamentals.
• Comfortable working with modern TypeScript, cloud infrastructure, and AI tooling.
• Fluent Polish and English.
• Based in Warsaw or genuinely willing to relocate.
• Comfortable with a highly ambitious, fast-paced, ownership-driven startup environment.

TechTree's client is hiring a Founding Engineer to join one of the earliest technical teams building next-generation AI agents and personal AI products from the ground up.

This is a high-ownership opportunity for an exceptional engineer or former founder who has already shipped AI agents into production and wants to help shape both the product and technical foundation of an ambitious early-stage company.

• Compensation: $100,000–$120,000/year + 1–2% equity
• Level: Mid-Senior / Senior
