Job summary

Bit Edge is seeking a founder-level CTO to own technology strategy and product delivery in an office-based setup in Gdańsk / Tricity, Poland. You will write production code in early stages, guide architecture, and later recruit and lead the engineering team while maintaining close technical direction with the CEO.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, architectural leadership, and building a scalable, secure, multi-tenant SaaS platform, with ambitious product innovation and collaboration

Qualifications

• Significant experience building commercial SaaS products.
• Strong full-stack software engineering background.
• Experience building AI-powered applications using modern LLMs and AI frameworks.
• Excellent software architecture and cloud engineering experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and product instincts.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Owning the technology vision and technical roadmap.
• Leading software architecture and engineering decisions.
• Actively developing product features and contributing production-quality code.
• Building secure, scalable, enterprise-grade multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
• Shaping product strategy and priorities with the Founder & CEO.
• Recruiting, mentoring and leading the engineering team.
• Establishing engineering standards, testing, CI/CD and development processes.
• Ensuring platform security, reliability and operational excellence.
• Evaluating emerging AI technologies and incorporating them where they create customer value.
• Helping build a high-performance engineering culture.
