About the Role

*instinctools is a software development company that provides custom software solutions for businesses of all sizes. Our team works closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide personalized solutions that meet their business requirements.

Forward Deployed Software Engineer – Grow Palantir expertise within the company.

Project focuses on the integration of Palantir Foundry and AIP into the WISPR insurance delivery framework to create a unified, data-driven and AI‑enabled insurance operations platform.

Tasks

• Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines in Palantir Foundry.
• Integrate data from ERP, CRM, Guidewire, financial, operational, and external systems.
• Build and maintain the Enterprise Ontology (object types, link types, actions).
• Develop operational applications and dashboards using Workshop and OSDK.
• Build AI‑powered workflows using Palantir AIP (RAG, LLM agents, evaluations).
• Work directly with customer stakeholders (business, operations, IT, leadership).
• Translate business problems into data models, applications, and AI solutions.
• Support production deployments, performance tuning, and scaling.
• Work on‑site with customers as required.

Our Expectations for the Ideal Candidate

• 2–3+ years of hands‑on experience with Palantir Foundry, including proven production deployment and customer implementation cases.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience building and operating distributed data pipelines (Spark, large‑scale ETL/ELT, data modeling).
• Experience integrating enterprise systems via REST APIs, JDBC, SFTP, and cloud data platforms.
• Experience with or strong understanding of RAG systems, LLM workflows, and AI‑enabled applications.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field.

Plus Qualifications

• Certification: Palantir Certified Data Engineer or Application Developer is highly preferred.
• Experience with Java or Scala.
