Job summary

Formamind sp. z o.o in Warsaw seeks an experienced AI/ML engineer to design, develop, and deploy ML models for diverse client projects. You will build data pipelines for training and inference, implement NLP and computer vision solutions, and maintain robust MLOps workflows.

Applicants should have a Master’s in a relevant field, 4+ years of AI/ML experience, and strong Python with TensorFlow/PyTorch. English at C1 and a remote-friendly setup are preferred.

• 4+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering.
• English: C1 level; Polish optional but welcome.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks expertise; experience with ML/DL methods.
• Proficient in ML deployment, MLOps, and production models.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for client projects.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for training and inference.
• Implement NLP solutions, including chatbots and text analysis.
• Develop computer vision applications for image/video processing.
• Create MLOps pipelines for training, validation, and deployment.
• Optimize model performance and enable efficient inference.
• Collaborate with data scientists to productionalize research.
• Monitor model performance and plan retraining strategies.

Job description

• Holds a master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent
• Speaks English at minimum C1 (advanced) level
• Speaks Polish (optional, but welcome)
• Has 4+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering
• Expert knowledge of Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and statistical methods
• Experience with LLMs, transformer architectures, and prompt engineering
• Proficient in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization
• Has deployed ML models to production using MLOps practices and tools
• Experience with cloud ML services (AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, Azure ML)
• Comfortable with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for ML workloads
• Knowledge of vector databases and embeddings for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Experience with A/B testing and model performance monitoring in production
• Understands ethical AI principles and bias detection/mitigation techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
