Job summary

Infosys is seeking a seasoned Fixed Assets Expert to join our finance team in Lodz on a hybrid work model. You will manage capitalization, depreciation runs, and asset registrations in SAP, aligning with IFRS and local GAAP.

You will collaborate with cost center owners, support monthly and annual closings, and contribute to finance transformation projects while maintaining strong control over fixed assets records.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Finance & Accounting with at least 2 years in Fixed Assets.
• Solid understanding of Fixed Assets accounting principles.
• English at least B2 level.
• Experience with SAP.
• Higher education in Accounting or Finance; further accounting courses are a plus.
• Strong communication and proactive problem solving; good teamwork.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (50% office / 50% remote).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate investment applications and purchase requisitions for capitalization per IFRS and HGB.
• Maintain fixed asset records in SAP including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, capitalization, and depreciation runs.
• Coordinate with cost center owners for AuC readiness and SAP recording.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities for fixed assets accounting.
• Prepare the statement of changes in fixed assets with local accounting teams.
• Support asset inventory activities as required.
• Advise stakeholders on fixed assets accounting topics.
• Participate in finance transformation and process improvement projects.
