Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Associate in the Firmwide Finance Business Controller team to deliver tax data and technology automation for VAT processes. You will partner with Project Management, Corporate Tax, Financial Control, Lines of Business, Operations, and Technology to drive the Tax Data & Technology Transformation Program.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of banking or finance experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own the creation and maintenance of Data Requirements Documents, including field mapping, data model management, and data dictionary updates.
• Profile and analyze upstream source systems to confirm data attributes and summarize data gaps for stakeholders.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather inputs and maintain clear communication as data requirements evolve.
• Support post go-live data quality issues, lead root-cause analysis, and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Execute data quality testing to validate upstream requirements, monitor issues, and support remediation efforts.
• Support delivery activities including test planning, execution tracking, stakeholder communications, defect triage, and sign-off coordination.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint.
