Job summary

Jit Team is seeking an experienced Functional Analyst for a strategic financial market infrastructure project. The platform handles registration of ownership, securities, and cash settlement across European markets, with a focus on accuracy and scalability.

You will lead requirements, write user stories, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and support end-to-end delivery in an Agile setup. Fluent English is required; hybrid work from Gdańsk with 2 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Functional Analyst/Business Analyst/Product Owner or similar role.
• Strong experience refining product backlogs.
• Experience supporting prioritization and planning in Agile environments.
• Ability to assess requirement complexity, delivery feasibility, and effort.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of UML and BPMN for business/process modeling.
• Experience releasing planning and coordination.
• Knowledge of acceptance testing and product validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Support prioritization of business and technical initiatives based on roadmap and objectives.
• Plan and coordinate team activities from short- to long-term perspectives.
• Monitor delivery progress and support successful execution of planned work.
• Resolve planning conflicts, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
• Write and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and story mapping.
• Perform functional analysis related to securities processing and Corporate Actions events.
• Analyze system behavior, business processes, data flows, and integrations.
• Prepare and coordinate releases with delivery teams.
• Support acceptance testing and validate delivered functionality.
• Report project progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery status.
• Create and maintain business/technical process models (UML/BPMN).
• Translate complex business needs into clear, implementable requirements.
• Contribute to end-to-end product delivery in Agile environments.
