Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is recruiting a Financial Reporting Supervisor to join the Financial Reporting Team in Krakow, Poland. The role centers on preparing and reviewing financial statements for BBH clients across multiple jurisdictions and reporting frameworks.

You will lead end-to-end reporting cycles, ensure accuracy and quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors. Strong leadership and fluency in English are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end preparation of financial statements for BBH clients.
  • Review statements across IFRS, Luxembourg GAAP, US GAAP, Irish GAAP.
  • Lead communication with clients and external auditors.
  • Oversee internal controls and ensure compliance.
  • Develop team members and foster accountability.

About the team

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Financial Reporting Supervisor to join our Financial Reporting Team based in Krakow, Poland. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for the preparation and review of full set of annual, semi-annual, and quarterly financial statements for investment funds within the Alternative Department, registered in Luxembourg, Ireland, United States and Cayman Islands. In our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the end‑to‑end preparation of financial statements for BBH clients, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Reviewing financial statements across multiple accounting frameworks (IFRS, Luxembourg GAAP, US GAAP, Irish GAAP) and ensuring they meet the highest technical and quality standards.
  • Leading communication with clients and external auditors, providing clear, timely, and accurate information throughout the reporting cycle.
  • Executing and overseeing critical internal controls, ensuring compliance and operational excellence at every stage of the process.
  • Driving accuracy, timeliness, and completeness across all client deliverables, while maintaining strong partnerships with other BBH teams.
  • Leading and developing team members, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.
What we’re looking for
  • 5+ years of proven experience in audit, financial reporting, or a related finance discipline, with a strong record of delivering high‑quality results.
  • Experience leading people or projects — or the capability to step confidently into that responsibility — is a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, paired with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Advanced analytical and numerical skills, enabling you to navigate complex data and make sound, informed decisions.
  • Proactive, mature approach to work, consistently meeting agreed timelines and managing priorities effectively.
  • Clear, confident communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling strong collaboration across teams and with external partners.
  • Solid command of Excel and Word, and comfort working with standard business tools.
  • Fluency in English at C1 level or higher.

  • Educational background in finance or accounting (degree or equivalent experience is a plus)
