Job summary

Mowi Central Europe in Poland seeks a financial controller to join our Controlling team. You will analyze financial and production reports, support forecasts, and drive improvements across a growing global seafood business.

The role emphasizes migrating reporting from Excel to Power BI, enhancing data accuracy, and ensuring timely insights for leadership. Fluency in Polish and English is required, and a degree in finance or accounting is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Financial Controlling and/or Audit.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Query is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Fluent Polish and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze sales and profitability reports across dimensions.
• Contribute to short- and long-term forecasts.
• Prepare monthly financial and production reports.
• Support savings and continuous improvement initiatives in Production and Supply Chain.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and tools.
• Drive digitalization of controlling processes, migrating from Excel to Power BI and Snowflake.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses for Leadership Team.

Your Responsibilities

• Preparation and analysis of sales and profitability reports across various dimensions
• Participation in the preparation of short- and long-term forecasts
• Preparation and analysis of monthly financial and production reports
• Contributing to and challenging savings / continuous improvement initiatives across various areas (e.g., Production and Supply Chain)
• Identifying opportunities to optimize and improve processes and tools
• Driving the digitalization of controlling processes by coordinating the migration from Excel-based reporting to Power BI and Snowflake-based solutions
• Preparing ad hoc analyses and reports in line with Leadership Team requirements

Our Requirements

• Relevant experience in Financial Controlling and/or Audit
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Experience working with Power BI and Power Query will be considered an advantage
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Very good communication skills in both Polish and English
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• CIMA and/or ACCA certification will be an asset
• Experience in Production Controlling will be considered an advantage
