Job description

We are looking for proactive individuals with a problem-solving attitude, strong analytical skills, and self-reliance in work organization, who are keen on continuous process improvement.

The finance controller will operate within the APTIV values and culture. With a one-team approach and a passion for results, we develop the ability to think and act like business owners. The finance controller's team plays a key role in ensuring accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions, performing month-end activities, monitoring forecast variances, providing explanations, and supporting internal and external audits to ensure precise financial information.

YOUR ROLE:
  • Manage month-end closing and ensure quality control over financial reporting submissions.
  • Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions (preparing journal entries).
  • Complete monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Review results and analyze variances compared to forecasts.
  • Prepare financial statements (Profit and Loss Statement, Customer Report) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to monthly forecasts by collaborating with functional teams to provide key inputs on sales, operating expenses, and profitability; identify and report potential risks and opportunities to management.
  • Provide reports for auditors during internal and external audits.
  • Prepare and report the yearly budget.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • 3-4 years of experience in finance or controlling.
  • Good command of English and communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Goal-oriented attitude and searching mindset.
  • Accuracy with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with SAP, ANAPLAN, and MS Office.
