Job summary

Hunter Douglas is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support and shape the growth of our EMEA Exterior business. This is a highly visible role at the intersection of manufacturing performance, commercial growth, and strategic finance.

You will lead forecasting, budgeting and KPI reporting, partner with manufacturing and commercial teams to drive cost savings, pricing and profitability, and help evolve the exterior finance operating model to enable growth across the region.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years in finance, FP&A, or business partnering.
• Experience delivering cost savings and performance improvements.
• Experience working across commercial and operational stakeholders.
• International/EMEA exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with manufacturing teams to drive cost efficiency and productivity improvements.
• Analyse labour, overheads, material costs and capacity utilisation.
• Own forecasting, budgeting and monthly performance cycle.
• Support pricing, margin management and customer profitability.
• Build business cases for new channels, expansion and M&A opportunities.
• Deliver reporting with insights on risks and opportunities and drive cost discipline.

About the Role

Hunter Douglas is seeking a high-impact Finance Business Partner to support and shape the growth of our EMEA Exterior business. This is a highly visible role working at the intersection of manufacturing performance, commercial growth, and strategic finance.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Production & Operations Finance

• Partner with manufacturing teams to drive cost efficiency and productivity improvements
• Analyse labour, overheads, material costs, and capacity utilisation
• Develop and track savings initiatives and operational KPIs
• Support key decisions including make vs buy, footprint optimisation, and inventory management

Commercial Finance & Growth

• Partner with commercial teams to identify market opportunities and revenue growth initiatives
• Support pricing, margin management, and customer/product profitability
• Build robust business cases for new channels, expansion, and M&A opportunities
• Deliver insights that connect sales growth, capacity, and profitability
• Own the forecasting, budgeting, and monthly performance cycle
• Deliver clear, action-focused reporting with insights on risks and opportunities
• Improve forecast accuracy and financial transparency
• Create a structured performance rhythm with measurable outcomes
• Support improvements in processes, tools, and data usage (including automation and AI)
• Contribute to cost discipline and zero-based budgeting initiatives
• Strengthen governance and financial controls
• Help shape the future Exterior finance operating model

Stakeholder Leadership

• Build strong relationships across operations, commercial teams, and finance leadership
• Act as a trusted advisor, influencing decisions through insight and challenge
• Play a visible leadership role with potential progression to Head of Finance – Exterior

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 8-12+ years in finance, ideally in FP&A, business partnering, or operations/manufacturing finance
• Proven success delivering cost savings, performance improvement, or growth initiatives
• Experience working across commercial and operational stakeholders
• International/EMEA exposure preferred

Technical Skills

• Solid understanding of:
• Standard costing & operational finance
• Pricing, margin, and revenue management
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; ERP/BI tools advantageous

Leadership & Behaviours

• Commercial mindset with strong financial discipline
• Confident challenging stakeholders and influencing decisions
• Hands-on, structured, and solution-oriented

Languages

• Polish is a plus (not essential)
