Job description

Overview

The Facets Operations IT Analyst is a top technical contributor who will oversee the maintenance and integrity of the FACETS configuration testing environments and ensure data is current to support the Configuration department in their testing needs. You will develop and administer best in class quality control standards related to configuration testing activities.

Work Arrangement

• This is a 100% Remote Position

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of best practices and procedures related to Configuration Team testing
• Administer "best in class" Quality Control standards related to Configuration Testing activities.
• Develop and maintain testing framework documentation
• Conduct testing "boot camp" and training sessions for Configuration testers
• Perform monthly audits of test cases to ensure adherence to testing standards; generate Management reports to support testing requirements
• Maintain the Facets Test regions, applications and testing tools, e.g. Claim Test Pro, NetworX Modeler, etc.
• Stay up to date on Pricing and Benefit arrangements to ensure testing standards remain current
• Proactively manage continuous process improvements based on new or emerging technologies, customer feedback and changing business requirements.
• Perform routine audits of test suites and cases
• Serve as subject matter expert for testing of requests, projects, upgrades and implementations
• Provide testing support/coverage for test analyst (query, selection and test data generation; Analysis and interpretation of test results)
• Integrate Claim Test Pro and other testing tools for processes outside the normal scope of Configuration Testing.
• Mentor less experienced team members to develop and improve test knowledge and proficiency.
• Improve test environment efficiencies through the use of automation tools
• Lead large scale projects and capable of working independently with minimal dependency on other team members.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree.
• At least three (3) or more years in a managed care environment
• At least (3) or more years of testing and quality assurance experience
• Experience with FACETS or another healthcare claims system
• Demonstrate high level of competency in utilizing data analysis and query tools such as MS Access, SQL, and MS Excel to identify root-cause issues, create new processes or enhance the development of configuration testing.
