Job summary

co.brick Talents is seeking a Senior Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to support a client during a busy November-December period. The role is remote and part-time, roughly 3-4 days per week, with hands-on data engineering and occasional client discussions.

You will provide senior-level engineering expertise using Microsoft Fabric, handle incoming requests, and participate in technical meetings with stakeholders, ensuring effective delivery while communicating clearly in English.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to support our client with ongoing data engineering activities during a busy period in November and December.

This is a remote, part-time engagement requiring approximately 3-4 days per week. The role combines hands-on data engineering with customer-facing technical discussions, making it an excellent opportunity for an engineer who can deliver technical expertise while communicating effectively with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level data engineering support using Microsoft Fabric.
• Handle ongoing and incoming data engineering requests.
• Participate in customer-facing technical discussions and meetings.
• Provide technical guidance on data engineering requirements, architecture, and potential solutions.
• Support the client in responding to customer demand by contributing hands-on engineering expertise.
• Work closely with stakeholders to clarify technical needs and support effective delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data engineering, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Ability to work independently and manage incoming data engineering requests.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in customer-facing technical discussions.
• Good command of English (B2 level or higher).
• Availability for approximately 3-4 days per week throughout the engagement.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in fractional, part-time, or flexible consulting engagements.
• Experience combining hands-on data engineering with customer-facing technical support.
