Responsibilities

• Rozwiązywanie problemów związanych z Shipdock/ Transportation i kwestiami procesowymi
• Wspieranie zewnętrznego dostawcy w projektach dotyczących usprawniania procesów
• Wykonywanie analiz i ekstraktów danych dla powtarzających się problemów
• Zapewnianie zgodności procesów operacyjnych z dostawcą poprzez monitorowanie metryk
• Komunikowanie nowych/przyjętych procesów dostawcy, szkolenie i wsparcie techniczne
• Udział w inicjatywach ciągłego doskonalenia zespołu magazynów zewnętrznych
• Bycie głównym ekspertem procesu na miejscu przy uruchamianiu nowych lokalizacji 3PL
• Wspieranie kierownika SMS w analizie metryk i planów rozwiązania

Job description

*This role requires extensive business travel within Europe (both EU and UK), up to 40% of the time and a valid driver's license for cars, as well as ability to rent cars in Europe (paid for by Amazon)*

The EU External Fulfillment Team provides flexible, externalized warehouse services for the Amazon network. We are looking for a motivated Ship Subject Matter Specialist to join the Operations Excellence "SMS" team.

Key job responsibilities

• Facilitate and drive the resolution of Shipdock/Transportation issues and process questions
• Support the external provider on a project basis for a specific process to improve, a tool to introduce, or a best practice to share
• Perform in-depth analyses or ad hoc data extractions for recurring issues requiring detailed analysis
• Ensure compliance of operational processes with the external provider through metric tracking, on-site audits, and requests for corrective/preventive actions
• Communicate new or modified processes to the external provider, provide training and troubleshooting assistance
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives of the outsourced warehouses team (e.g., documenting processes, improving internal tools)
• Use benchmarking standards and continuously train to develop subject matter expertise
• Act as the main Amazon process expert on site during the launch of new 3PL sites
• Support the Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) manager in analyzing metrics from reports and dedicated resolution plans

A day in the life

The minimum base pay salary for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include further pay components such as performance bonuses, where applicable. Your recruiting team will share final base pay and any applicable total compensation elements depending on skills and requirements. Company discretionary, supplementary benefits apply subject to further terms, including pension plans, health insurance, life and disability insurance, business travel insurance, MultiSport card, discounts for meals at the company’s canteen, employee discount code and program (EDC/Extras), and the Employee Assistance Program (private and confidential counselling and referral service to support health and well-being). The minimum base pay for this position is PLN 37.5 hourly.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English (C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR)
