CD Projekt RED is seeking an Expert IT Network Engineer to own and evolve our corporate network across LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud environments. You will define standards, roadmaps, and drive automation while guiding complex infrastructure projects globally.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Network Engineering and operating complex enterprise networks.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, WLAN, VPN, 802.1X/NAC, and security.
• Experience with automation and IaC using Ansible, Terraform or similar.
• Cloud/hybrid networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP; high availability and monitoring expertise.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert IT Network Engineer to take technical ownership of our corporate network infrastructure. In this role, you will define network architecture and standards, drive automation and cloud networking initiatives, and provide technical leadership for complex infrastructure projects across Global IT.

Daily Responsibilities

• Own and evolve corporate network architecture across LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud environments.
• Define network engineering standards, reference architectures, and technical roadmap.
• Design scalable, resilient, and secure network solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Drive network automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Ansible, Python, Terraform, or similar technologies.
• Lead technical evaluations, architecture reviews, and complex cross-team infrastructure initiatives.
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex incidents, driving root cause analysis and systemic improvements.
• Mentor engineers, share knowledge, and maintain architecture documentation and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Network Engineering, including designing and operating complex enterprise network environments.
• Deep knowledge of routing, switching, WLAN, VPN, firewalls, SDWAN, segmentation, and 802.1X/NAC.
• Strong knowledge of network services, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Strong experience with network automation and Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Python, Terraform, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid networking architectures in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Strong understanding of network security, resiliency, high availability, monitoring, and capacity planning.

Experience with network monitoring and observability solutions such as Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, or equivalent.

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.

Experience leading complex technical initiatives and making architectural decisions across multiple teams.

Ability to mentor experienced engineers and influence technical direction without formal authority.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in English and Polish, both spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Experience with Dell, Ruckus, Check Point, VeloCloud networking technologies.
• Experience with multi-cloud networking and Zero Trust concepts.
• Relevant networking, cloud, or security certifications.

Working mode

• In-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity in Warsaw, Poland.
• Relocation to Poland is required for those residing abroad.

Estimated pay range

for this position: 20 500 - 28 200 PLN gross monthly. This role may be eligible for a long term incentive program (option to purchase CDPR stock after the vesting period). Final offers are dependent on job-related factors like experience and qualifications.
