Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for internal development tools and build systems supporting projects across the group. This role focuses on team leadership, delivery ownership, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring scalable, reliable, and efficient development infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering, production, and other stakeholders to define priorities, improve workflows, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Developing, motivating and energizing the team.
  • Having regular 1-1s with team members.
  • Cultivating the team culture in line with the company’s values and goals.
  • Cascading and escalating information.
  • Responsible for talent acquisition, performance evaluation, professional development, and employee engagement within the team.
  • Optimizing team processes.
  • Working closely with IT and various development teams.
  • Filtering inbound requests to ensure focus for the development team.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation and other team artifacts.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Manager or Lead.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Experience shipping games or software products.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles.
  • Strong command of Source Control Management systems (Perforce, Git).
  • Ability to proactively take ownership, set goals, and drive initiatives independently.
  • Proven track record of effective collaboration, supporting colleagues, and achieving shared goals.
  • Ability to adjust to shifting priorities, handle ambiguity, and excel under pressure.
Nice to have
  • Experience working in game development.
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine.
  • Experience in containerization and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with cloud providers.
  • Knowledge of security concepts.
  • SysAdmin background.

Working mode
  • In-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity in Warsaw, Poland. Relocation is required.

Estimated pay range for this position: 39 800 – 54 670 PLN gross monthly. This role may be eligible for a long term incentive program (option to purchase CDPR stock after the vesting period). Final offers are dependent on job-related factors like experience and qualifications.
