Job summary

11 bit studios S.A. in Warsaw offers a hybrid role focusing on planning, prototyping, and delivering high-quality gameplay features. You will evaluate technologies, participate in design, and ensure robust, optimized gameplay systems with strong C++ expertise.

The role requires 5+ years in gamedev and at least 2 years with Unreal Engine, plus excellent communication and modern gameplay knowledge. Relocation and international collaboration are supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a programming role within gamedev.
• Minimum 2 years of professional Unreal Engine experience.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Expert practical knowledge of C++ in gameplay systems.
• Solid understanding of modern gameplay solutions.
• Keeps up with current technology trends.
• Citybuilder/strategy game experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prototype, develop and maintain gameplay features.
• Evaluate new technologies and apply them to gameplay code.

This position requires working in hybrid model in our Warsaw office

What will you be doing on a day-to-day basis:

• Planning, prototyping, developing and maintaining gameplay features
• Evaluating new technologies and identifying opportunities to apply them to gameplay code
• Participating in the gameplay feature design process
• Debugging and optimizing gameplay code
• Analyzing technical risk and requirements for gameplay solutions
• Enforcing good programming practices within the programming team
• Sharing knowledge and experience within the programming team

Job requirements:

What will help you succeed in this role:

• At least 5 years of professional experience on a programming position in the gamedev industry.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with Unreal Engine.
• Good communication skills.
• Expert practical knowledge of C++.
• Expert knowledge of gameplay solutions used in modern video games.
• Keeping up to date with current technology trends.
• Working knowledge of citybuilder/strategy game development is a plus.
