Job summary

Provident is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to monitor portfolio performance, identify risks, and provide actionable recommendations across European markets. You will work with risk, finance, marketing and IT teams to ensure data-driven credit risk management and consistent reporting.

The role involves developing dashboards, supporting stress tests, and contributing to scoring model enhancements to drive portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or related field.
• 1+ year of credit risk management experience in retail banking or consumer finance.
• Experience analyzing credit risk indicators and evaluating new credit risk proposals.
• Solid knowledge of retail credit risk management principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate data into business recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze credit portfolio performance across European markets.
• Design and develop aligned credit risk dashboards and early warning indicators.
• Prepare analyses and reports for senior management and Credit Committees.
• Analyze credit risk data across the customer lifecycle to improve portfolio performance.
• Support stress testing and scenario analysis for changing economic conditions.
• Contribute to credit risk scoring model development and methodologies.
• Collaborate with risk teams across markets to align reporting and policies.
• Partner with Risk, Finance, Marketing, and IT to support strategic initiatives.
