Job summary

GP Batteries is seeking an experienced S&OP Leader to own the regional S&OP process across Europe. The role focuses on demand planning, inventory management, forecast accuracy, and capital efficiency in a fast-moving consumer environment.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Services, Finance, and Manufacturing to drive sustainable growth while balancing service levels and working capital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in S&OP, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, or Operations.
• Proven experience in inventory optimization and working capital management.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, inventory planning, and international supply chains.
• Experience working across multiple European markets.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end S&OP process across Europe.
• Drive demand forecasting and improve forecast accuracy.
• Develop inventory and replenishment strategies to balance service levels and working capital.
• Lead initiatives to improve and monitor inventory turns, aging, and DIO.
• Coordinate supply planning activities with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics.
• Support product launches, promotions, and phase-in/phase-out plans for supply readiness.
• Identify supply risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Lead monthly S&OP reviews and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Establish KPI dashboards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build cross-functional partnerships to align commercial priorities with execution.
