Short Intro and About the Job
The R&I packaging Engineer Europe participates in the development and implementation of the innovation, renovation, and packaging competitiveness pipeline for Europe. Is responsible for identifying the R&I means to be implemented and coordinating the requests of R&I packaging peers to ensure the execution of the pipeline.
This is fixed time role for 7 months.
Main responsibilities:
- Contributes to the development of brief in conjunction in cooperation with internal stakeholders.
- Develops packaging according to the principles of eco design, DTSV and focused on value and unique experience for consumer.
- Overseeing the packaging aspect of projects, from initial definition to launch, ensuring effective project management in terms of quality, timing, and cost, either directly or through team members.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize required actions and resources for implementation across a portfolio of projects.
- Implementation of pack projects in the factory, resource management and the R&I budget of tests.
- Contribute to development of the packaging development strategy for the different brands and deliver of innovative ideas and proposals.
About You
- Minimum 1 or 2 years of experience in the FMCG industry, experience in packaging area is a must,
- Project management experience,
- Technical expertise in packaging design (knowledge of different plastic materials, paper and cardboard, knowledge of the different technologies to manufacture packaging),
- Knowledge of packaging regulations in the food industry,
- Knowledge of tools and methods to develop and evaluate packaging with a consumer experience to surpasses competitors,
- Proactively-driven, with a solution-focused and business-oriented mindset, dedicated to continuous improvement.
