Job summary

Danone Opole is seeking a dedicated professional to lead industrial feasibility, trial planning and process optimization for our specialized nutrition products. You will coordinate cross-functional trials, manage recipe data in Optiva, ensure regulatory readiness, and support handover to manufacturing while driving continuous improvements across formulations, materials, and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Master's or Engineering degree in Food Science/Technology/Engineering or related field.
• Experience in industrialisation, product development, process engineering or food manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Autonomous, rigorous and accountable with strong communication in an international environment.
• Fluent English; knowledge of Optiva or similar system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess feasibility of new recipes, ingredients and processes; lead cross-functional risk assessments; recommend robust implementation solutions.
• Define and execute trial and validation strategy; set success criteria and follow-up.
• Prepare, coordinate and monitor trials on jar and pouch lines; analyse results and propose actions.
• Coordinate samples and results for nutrition, contaminants, microbiological and sensory validation; ensure requirements are met.
• Prepare manufacturing handover documents and support first commercial productions and post-launch monitoring.
• Support complex product and process investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain recipes and process data in Optiva and monitor shelflife data linkage to recipes.
• Identify opportunities to improve formulations, raw-material use, processes, and cost/quality performance.
• Manage laboratory trials for projects to assess feasibility.

About The Job

• Industrial feasibility and risk management: Assess the feasibility of new recipes, ingredients and processes; lead cross-functional industrial risk assessments; recommend robust implementation solutions.


• Trial and validation strategy: Define whether industrial trials are required using pilot results, manufacturing knowledge and factory risk assessments; set validation plans, success criteria and follow-up.


• Industrial trial delivery: Prepare, coordinate and monitor trials on jar and pouch lines; analyse results, investigate deviations and issue clear technical recommendations.


• Quality, nutrition and regulatory readiness: Coordinate samples and results for nutrition, contaminant, microbiological and sensory validation; ensure requirements are completed before implementation approval.


• Handover and start-up: Prepare manufacturing handover documentation, lead transfer sessions with factory teams and support first commercial productions, FLC and post-launch monitoring.


• Technical troubleshooting: Support complex product and process investigations, supply-security projects and industrial transfers; define corrective and preventive actions where needed.


• Recipe and data management: Maintain accurate recipes and process data in Optiva and act as a key user for industrial implementation activities. Organize and monitor Shelflife data’s link to recipe implementation.


• Continuous improvement: Identify and share opportunities to improve formulations, raw-material use, processes, industrial efficiency, cost and quality performance.


• Laboratory trial : be able to manage laboratory trial for some project ( reno / inno project / BCP ) to assess feasibility

About You

• Master's degree or Engineering degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering or a related field.


• Experience in industrialisation, product development, process engineering or food manufacturing.


• Good understanding of product-process interactions; knowledge of wet food and sterilised and/or pasteurised processes is highly desirable.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage several projects and priorities.


• Autonomous, rigorous and accountable, with strong communication and stakeholder-management capabilities in an international environment.


• Fluent English; knowledge of Optiva or a similar recipe-management system is an advantage.
