Job description

The ESG Center of Excellence Analyst will be responsible for providing administrative support within the area of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) at a global level within the PPG procurement function.

This role will be an individual contributor position, where the analyst will work under supervision and seek assistance as needed, with the goal of becoming fully autonomous and independent in the future.

The primary purpose of this role will be to support regional and global ESG Procurement initiatives through data and trend analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely data maintenance and entry.
  • Respond to questions and queries related to the inputted data.
  • Generate ongoing and ad-hoc reports.
  • Develop knowledge of reporting/analytical tools (Excel, PowerQuery, Power BI, EcoVadis, etc.).
  • Stay updated with system updates.
  • Provide basic system support to Procurement or EHS personnel and suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service, professionalism, and diligence.
  • Maintain up-to-date process documents, such as SOPs, for responsible tasks.
Critical Qualifications
  • Ability to operate within multiple disciplines in a multicultural environment.
  • Basic problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office environment.
Nice To Have
  • Knowledge of reporting/analytical tools: Excel, PowerQuery, Power BI, EcoVadis, etc. Previous experience is not required, but familiarity with these tools is advantageous.
