Job summary

ABB is seeking a Hybrid Business/Data Analyst with 3–5 years of experience to bridge technical and business needs around ESG reporting. You will define requirements, write user stories, and validate solutions while coordinating across sustainability, automation, and technical teams.

You will act as Product Owner for AU Sustainability reporting, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving data-driven decisions. The role emphasizes process improvement and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, reporting, product ownership, or sustainability-related roles.
• Experience translating business, data, and reporting needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting processes, data flows, and governance expectations.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools, such as Power BI or SQL-based reporting.

Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between technical and business by using data analytics to assess processes, identify problems and opportunities, and support decisions for IS solutions or services.
• Coordinate ESG reporting across Automation, Sustainability, and technical teams to align needs with capabilities.
• Analyze ESG processes, data flows, and dependencies; translate needs into functional and data requirements.
• Provide structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; support design, testing, and validation of ESG reporting solutions.
• Act as Product Owner for AU Sustainability reporting, manage backlog and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Represent stakeholders, promote solution adoption, and drive effective use of ESG data and analytics.
