ERP Solution Consultant - SAP Intercompany
The ERP Solution Consultant leads independent complex ERP solution delivery, proactively solves product issues, and contributes to architecture. In this role, you will guide product teams, champion accountability, and effectively communicate with stakeholders. You will solve complex problems, make independent product-level decisions, provide technical oversight, and report at the product or product line level. By bringing advanced ERP knowledge, in-depth expertise in key areas, and strong analytical skills, you will actively contribute to continuous improvement and team development.
We offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in‑person collaboration. Employees are required to be in our offices on average two days per week, with specific days varying based on business needs such as workshops, conferences, town halls, team meetings, and other collaborative events.
Job Responsibilities
- Backlog Management: Defining, ordering, and refining Product Backlog items to align with business goals
- Product Strategy: Evaluate existing SD processes to identify optimization opportunities, particularly in the areas of automated order processing and real‑time analytics
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with Supply Chain stakeholders to gather feedback, manage expectations, and communicate product updates
- Development Collaboration: Working with Scrum teams to define, build, and validate product features during sprints
- Solution Design & Configuration: Lead the end‑to‑end design and implementation of new features within S/4HANA
- Hands‑on Core Customizing: Perform independent, hands‑on SAP standard configuration and customization within the S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM) module
- WRICEF Specification & Design: Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications for custom developments, actively designing and delivering WRICEF items (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) from ideation to hyper‑care
- Logistics Integration: Act as the functional lead for SD integration touchpoints with Decentralized EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and Embedded TM (Transportation Management) to ensure seamless flow from Sales Order to TM Integration
Technical & Professional Qualifications
- S/4HANA SD: Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP SD, ideally with full‑cycle S/4HANA implementations
- Familiarity with Solution Manager (SolMan) or SAP Cloud ALM for documentation and transport management
- Technical Literacy: Proficiency in monitoring and troubleshooting IDocs/ALE
Preferred Qualifications
- Life Sciences / Pharma Experience: Familiarity with pharmaceutical business models
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions without over‑customizing the "Clean Core."
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Global Trade Services (GTS) integration
- Integration Architecture: Proven experience with Decentralized EWM integration (outbound delivery split, picking/packing status updates) and Embedded TM (Order‑based/Delivery‑based transportation planning)
- Intercompany Expertise: Hands‑on experience or theoretical knowledge of Advanced Intercompany Sales and Advanced Intercompany Stock Transfer
