Job summary

LimnoTech seeks driven, curious, and motivated Environmental Engineering and Science interns to join our team this summer. As an intern, you’ll contribute to real‑world solutions for complex water challenges and work on a specific project under an assigned mentor.

Projects span urban wet weather, water quality, ecosystem restoration, and more, with potential hands-on field work. Position starts mid‑May 2027 and ends mid‑August, in‑person at our Ann Arbor office, ~40 hours per week.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a degree program in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and a desire to learn.
Willingness to travel within the Great Lakes region for field assignments if necessary.
Must be legally able to work in the U.S. (proper documentation required)

Responsibilities

Work on a specific project with an assigned mentor.
Projects may include urban wet weather & green infrastructure; environmental observing & sensing; water quality & water resources modeling; ecosystem restoration; or water stewardship & sustainability.
Hands‑on field work component to connect skills to real‑world environments.
