Job summary

Danaher through its Cytiva operating company in Krakow is seeking an entry-level SOC Analyst (Tier 1) to monitor, triage and escalate security events across a global enterprise. This 18-month fixed-term contract offers hybrid work and exposure to incident response and security engineering.

You will join the Danaher Threat Management Center and work with shift leads, gaining growth into other cybersecurity disciplines.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., phishing, malware, network threats).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities across teams.
• Ability to follow processes in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts (phishing, malware, endpoint, identity, network).
• Perform initial investigation and enrichment of alerts using tools and playbooks.
• Escalate incidents to higher Tiers following defined procedures.
• Document findings clearly in ticketing systems.
• Support incident response activities, including containment under guidance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve escalation and investigation processes.
• Assist with containment and eradication in coordination with relevant teams.
