Overview

Job Description: NAVBLUE Aeronautical Analyst - Enroute Navigation+ responsible for maintaining safety critical records in Navblue’s aeronautical database supporting products for pilots and companies in the aviation industry based on the 28-day AIRAC cycle. Record types include aerodromes, runways, waypoints, coordinates, altitudes, airways, and airspace. You will use visual comparison and software to compare state-published text and images with database records and update the database as required.

Responsibilities
  • Compare text and images in new aeronautical publications with existing records in the Navblue database.
  • Update records in the database in accordance with structured Navblue procedures, regulatory requirements, and customer requirements.
  • Raise queries with aeronautical publication providers to clarify documents and resolve issues based on instructions and guidelines.
  • Adapt to reprioritised work as directed by senior team members.
  • Identify quality or non-conformance issues, escalate appropriately and perform corrective actions (with guidance).

Qualified Experience/Skills/Training

Education:

  • Educated to A Level or equivalent.
  • A degree in an aviation-related field is an asset.

Experience:

  • Experience working in companies in the aviation/corporate industry.
  • Working knowledge of Aeronautical Information Services AIS publications is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication.
