Mistral is building a sovereign AI cloud for Europe. You will lead the datacenter software team, turning arriving hardware into reliable clusters, with automation spanning from rack validation to deploy.

This founding leadership role blends software and hardware, with hands-on coding and architecture work early on. As the team grows, you shift toward people leadership, shaping charter and standards, and coordinating across product and datacenter teams to meet capacity commitments while

Qualifications

• 8+ years building backend or infrastructure systems.
• At least 2 years leading engineers.
• Deep Linux and Go production experience.
• Hardware fluency with servers, GPUs, NICs, switches.

Responsibilities

• Build the delivery pipeline in Go: provisioning, validation, and software stack install.
• Lead the team from scratch: hires, coaching, growth paths, tooling standards.
• Own time-to-acceptance and relentlessly drive it down.
• Collaborate with Hardware Design and Fleet Health on reliability.
• Manage GPU fleets at scale: H100/GB200, InfiniBand, and ROCE.
• Coordinate with Product Managers to plan delivery waves.
