• We're Markets & Securities Services IT Poland, a technology department providing technology services and solutions for the Investment Bank businesses at HSBC. Systems we create enable transactions across multiple asset classes. Our teams work in partnership with the business counterparts to deliver high-throughput systems, from low latency trading applications to large Microservices platforms. We also perform architecture and cloud migrations.
• Join us to work with talents from different geographical locations in the world class Global FX Calculations team to develop, improve and maintain the bank's own solution and platform for post-trading risk and PnL calculation which plays a critical role in trader's day-to-day activity and the bank's fulfilling to regulatory requirements.

responsibilities :

• Lead and grow a pod as a size of 4-6 members to perform end-to-end delivery of the project.
• Communicate with business users to identify and refine requirements and translate them into specified project briefs.
• Work hands-on, to design, build and support technical solutions / platforms.
• Own delivery roadmap based on solutions, and removes blockers to ensure technical solutions are delivered per agreed timeline with high quality.
• Production support and incident reaction as part of the global team.

requirements-expected :

• Extensive experience in software engineering with experience in leading technical delivery team (8 + years).
• Strong hands-on skills in programming in modern Java language on back-end with HTTPS, RESTful API, micro-services on Cloud infrastructure.
• Experience and strong skills in delivering back-end system with requirements in high-availability, high performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Ability to deal with pressure and calmness in urgent / stressing situation.
• Domain knowledge in banking - trade life cycle and post trade processing for financial investment products, especially FX would be an advantage.
• Experience in production support is a plus.
