Job summary

Graphcore in Gdańsk is seeking a leadership-minded Frameworks engineering manager to guide teams working on PyTorch and Triton efforts. You will mentor engineers, set priorities across locations and contribute technically to framework-related work while maintaining delivery quality and strong collaboration with open-source communities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and developing software engineers, including coaching, feedback, performance management and career development
• Strong software engineering capability, with professional experience in C++ and Python
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and Polish, especially when explaining complex technical context
• Ability to build alignment across teams, locations and disciplines
• Pragmatism when balancing people leadership, hands-on technical contribution, engineering quality and delivery
• Experience with PyTorch, Triton, compiler development, MLIR, LLVM, machine learning kernels or accelerator architectures

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers contributing to PyTorch and Triton teams, supporting their development, clarifying priorities and maintaining feedback across locations
• Contribute to PyTorch, Triton or related Frameworks work through design, implementation, review, debugging, testing or performance analysis
• Balance people leadership with hands-on technical contributions and maintain engineering quality and delivery
• Communicate clearly across sites, ensuring alignment with technical leaders and team priorities
• Help shape the engineering culture at a growing site and foster collaboration with open-source communities
