Job summary

SimCorp is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead 1-2 teams focused on Corporate Actions within the Investment Operations area. You will partner with Product Management to translate customer outcomes intodeliverables and guide daily scrum activities, balancing short-term delivery with long-term improvements.

You will mentor engineers on architecture, system design, observability, and AI-assisted development while fostering a culture of engineering excellence across a global organisation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience leading software engineers.
• Ability to coach on architecture, system design, quality engineering, AI-assisted development.
• Build collaborative, open culture and work across a large international organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1-2 software engineering teams within the Investment Operations Corporate Actions Product Area, including staffing and staff development.
• Collaborate with Product Management to define customer outcomes to deliver.
• Lead day-to-day scrum activities and plan short-term outcomes and long-term improvements.
• Partner with other engineering leaders to improve product quality, security, delivery, and system performance.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the product areas.
