Job summary

Infosys Limited in Poland seeks an experienced engineer to design, analyze, integrate and validate engine thermal and fluid systems, including air, oil, fuel and heat management, within a multi-disciplinary team.

You will model with 1D networks, FEM/CFD, plan tests, deliver technical packages on schedule, and provide in-service support while promoting continuous improvement and robust design practices.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or relevant experience in Thermo/Aero/Fluid-dynamics or Stress.
• Experience with Finite Element, Fluid Flow (Air, Oil, Fuel), Heat Transfer or CFD.
• Solid grounding in System Engineering and Robust Design principles.
• Proven ability to work in a multi-functional team and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyse, integrate and validate engine thermal and fluid systems (air, oil, fuel, heat management).
• Model systems using 1D network solvers, FEM and CFD; plan and execute tests.
• Deliver defined technical packages and investigations to milestones within cost and time targets.
• Act as a point of contact for the discipline and share knowledge with internal and external customers.
• Provide production and in-service engine support; drive continuous improvement.

Job description

• You will be part of the team, responsible for the design, analysis, integration, and validation of whole engine thermal and fluid systems. These include the secondary air system, oil system, fuel system, and thermo-mechanical analysis. The team leads the understanding, integration and management of these systems and attributes, whilst providing predicted and analyzed information to all areas of the business for the design and validation of engine systems, sub-systems, and components.
• Concept design, modelling, analysis and assessment of air, oil, fuel, and heat management systems.
• System modelling using 1D network solvers, Finite Element Analysis and CFD, test planning, test execution and analysis to validate and achieve system requirements.
• Delivering defined technical packages and investigations against programme milestones, within agreed cost, timescale, and quality requirements.
• Being a point of contact in your engineering discipline and sharing subject-matter knowledge with both internal and external customers.
• Production and in-service engine support.
• Actively promoting, encouraging, and supporting continuous improvement, in and outside your immediate sphere

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or relevant experience in Thermo/Aero/Fluid-dynamics or Stress (minimum 4 years)
• Finite Element, Fluid Flow (Air, Oil, Fuel), Heat Transfer or CFD experience
• A good technical background and familiarity with System Engineering and Robust Design principles.
• Good team working skills and an ability to work as part of a multi-functional team.
• Ability to plan and execute complex tasks in challenging time frames.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and make recommendations backed up by analysis of data.
• Ability to exchange complex technical ideas and information in a concise and logical way, over a broad and wide range of topics.
