CD PROJEKT RED in Warsaw is seeking an Engineering Director to lead the gameplay systems of Hadar. You will shape architecture, mentor managers and engineers, and drive the technical strategy for AAA titles in a hybrid in-office role.

The role requires deep C++ expertise, Unreal Engine 5 knowledge, and strong leadership; relocation is provided and a comprehensive benefits package including private healthcare, life insurance, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Min. 12 years professional experience and at least 5 years in a lead position in games.
• Experience in AAA title development for consoles, debugging and profiling in a console environment.
• Proven track record in managing a team.
• Deep knowledge of C++ and modern game systems architecture.

Responsibilities

• Establish architecture and technical strategy for game features and systems.
• Lead engineering managers and engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Develop strategic plans for engineering teams, including resource allocation and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with art, design, production to align features with creative vision.
• Drive standards for clean, high-quality C++ code and documentation.
