Job summary

Hitachi Energy Poland is seeking an Engineering and R&D Engagement Lead to drive stakeholder engagement, communications, and change adoption across TrafoSchool and related initiatives. You will support governance, capability development, and platform adoption for a global stakeholder community.

This role focuses on translating complex information into clear, stakeholder‑focused communications, refining content on the TrafoSchool portal and SharePoint, and coordinating campaigns to drive adoption

Qualifications

• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, change management, or adoption support within global or matrix organizations.
• Experience supporting Engineering, R&D, technical, process, or expert communities.
• Experience managing communication channels, campaigns, editorial calendars, SharePoint sites, portals, and user-facing content.
• Experience supporting transformation initiatives, governance updates, process rollouts, and platform implementations.
• Exceptional communication, writing, editorial, and stakeholder engagement skills, including audience segmentation and adoption support.
• Good understanding of content governance, communication standards, branding, accessibility, and single source of truth principles.
• Good collaboration skills across Global Communications, IT/platform teams, process owners, content owners, trainers, SMEs, and business stakeholders.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Engineering and R&D Engagement Lead to drive stakeholder engagement, communications, change adoption, and user experience across Engineering and R&D initiatives in our TrafoSchool initiative. In this role, you will ensure clear, consistent, and impactful communication, supporting governance, capability development, platform adoption, and transformation activities for a global stakeholder community.

How you'll make impact

• Lead stakeholder engagement, change management, and communications for TrafoSchool, Engineering, and R&D initiatives.
• Develop and execute communication strategies, change narratives, communication standards, editorial governance, templates, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Create and maintain communication materials, including playbooks, FAQs, release notes, briefing materials, stakeholder updates, decision notices, and training communications.
• Translate complex governance, process, technical, and organizational information into clear, stakeholder-focused communication.
• Ensure communication governance, audience segmentation, branding, accessibility, consistency, and alignment with the single source of truth principle.
• Drive communication of Engineering and R&D governance updates, operating model changes, process updates, training governance decisions, capability development initiatives, and platform releases.
• Improve the TrafoSchool portal and SharePoint user experience through enhanced content clarity, readability, navigation, communication hierarchy, and user journeys.
• Coordinate content promotion and communication campaigns to support adoption, process compliance, stakeholder understanding, and business objectives.
• Collaborate with Global Communications, IT/platform teams, process owners, content owners, and business stakeholders to ensure communication quality and governance.
• Monitor communication effectiveness through engagement metrics, stakeholder feedback, adoption indicators, and campaign performance, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
