Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an energetic quantitative analyst to develop timely and rigorous analyses that inform client decisions in the energy sector. You will work with the modelling team to structure economic problems into quantifiable analyses and derive actionable insights from model results.

Qualifications

• Ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex quantitative data and information.
• Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical parties.
• Strong interest in energy markets.
• Full professional fluency in English.
• Demonstrated success in project management preferred.
• Previous professional or academic exposure to the energy sector beneficial.
• Knowledge of Polish/Czech/Slovak/Ukrainian/Russian desirable.
• Understanding of the Polish/Czech/Slovak energy sector and challenges desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses to enhance clients' decision-making.
• Work closely with the modelling team, structuring economic problems into quantifiable analyses and deriving insights from model results.
• Contribute to Aurora's product development by identifying new opportunities and expanding capabilities.
• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and deliver project scopes.
• Communicate findings to clients.
• Develop analysis and convey insights to enhance clients' decision-making within the energy and power sector.
• Help identify issues, form hypotheses, conduct analysis, and synthesise conclusions into recommendations.
• Work on international projects, particularly in Poland, with exposure to Czechia and Slovakia.
• Operate in a demanding yet supportive environment with autonomy and opportunities to influence major energy-sector decisions.
