Job description

The Role

As the End-to-End Planning Team Manager, you will manage a team of planners within Operations Planning. E2E Planning is a vital part of the Global Supply Chain organization, orchestrating product and information flow within the Imperial Brands network.

Together with your team, you will drive operational efficiencies, participate in GSC-led projects and strategic cross-functional initiatives with high business impact. You will enable your team to embrace processes and procedures and actively pursue continuous improvements.

You will serve as a source of knowledge and experience for other Global E2E Planning team members, supporting them in their daily operations. Your team will be at the center of the integrated planning process, playing a key role daily.

You will be responsible for planning activities across various Imperial categories, driving customer fulfillment, managing relationships with markets, and coordinating across different areas of the supply chain to enable Imperial's performance.

This management role involves overseeing specialist employees and/or supervisors who allocate and review work within a large support, sales, technical, production, or operations team.

Principle Accountabilities

  1. Ensuring Market Supply Effectiveness by monitoring and mitigating supply risks, ensuring capacity aligns with demand.
  2. Optimizing Stock Parameters through overseeing stock calculations and updates, and challenging forecasts to improve inventory accuracy.
  3. Driving Performance Analysis & Forecast Accuracy by analyzing market trends and forecast deviations to identify opportunities and risks.
  4. Collaborating on Product Launches & Distribution with materials and production planning teams to track new launches and integrate performance insights.
  5. Developing Dashboards & Reporting for S&OP, providing key supply chain metrics such as stock levels, OTIF, and forecast fulfillment rates.
  6. Leading Continuous Improvement & Team Development by implementing process enhancements, driving efficiency, and managing team performance and development.

Skills & Experience Required

  1. Supply Chain Experience in planning (distribution, production, or material), preferably within FMCG.
  2. Team Leadership experience, ensuring effective coordination and performance.
  3. Technical Skills in planning software, SAP, or JDA.
  4. Project Management experience is advantageous.
  5. Excellent communication skills with a process-oriented and team-driven approach.
  6. Graduate degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
