Qualifications

• Strong experience with embedded C/C++, ideally in resource-constrained environments.
• Ability to read schematics, datasheets, and low-level hardware documentation.
• Experience with buses and protocols like CAN and UART.
• Proficiency in Python or similar for scripting and testing.
• Proactive communication with non-software teammates and a systems-thinking mindset.
• Experience with fault-tolerant or space-grade systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded software for propulsion system electronics.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions, especially around distributed firmware design and safety-critical considerations.
• Work through the full development cycle from requirements analysis to in-orbit verification.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to define interfaces and ensure coherence across the system.
• Design and run tests from unit tests to hardware-in-the-loop campaigns to ensure reliability.
• Maintain clean, robust code prioritizing simplicity and safety.
