Amazon invites skilled Embedded Software Engineers to join the Ring development team in Gdansk, Poland. You will contribute to IoT product development, deliver robust C/C++ code for Ring devices, and design embedded subsystems while collaborating across teams.

You will lead by example, communicate proactively, and tackle challenges in a fast-moving environment focused on customer-centric innovations.

Formación

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Embedded development experience in C or C++
• Extensive experience with ARM CPUs
• Experience writing low-level drivers and debugging with hardware
• Experience with embedded wireless systems

With Ring growing rapidly in Poland, we are looking for skilled individuals with a strong sense of independence to join our team in Gdansk. Our team will develop current projects as well as build and deliver new features. As an Software Development Engineer, you will be a core member of the development team. The ideal candidate is passionate about building IoT products. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment.

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join the Ring team and support the development of new and existing products. We value your passion to discover, invent, simplify and build.

Basic Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Extensive experience in computer architecture and embedded wireless systems
• Extensive embedded development experience in C or C++
• Familiarity and experience with ARM CPUs
• Extensive experience with writing low-level drivers, interrupt service routines and general troubleshooting/debugging with hardware

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience with one of more commercial wireless protocols like BLE or WiFi
• Experience in firmware development and testing of battery powered products

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with development tools like IAR/Keil and Git version control system
  • Experience with common bus protocols such as SPI, I2C, and UART
  • Experience with software testing (unit, regression and system testing)
  • Knowledge of embedded Linux and FreeRTOS
  • Comfortable in some scripting language such as Python
  • Experience in building GenAI applications
  • Experience with AWS

  The minimum gross base salary for this position is listed below. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated.

In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Your recruiting team will share final salary and any restricted stock unit scheme if applicable, depending on skills and requirements.
