Job summary

Accenture Kraków is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to develop safety-critical low-level software for SoC-based automotive platforms within the ISO 26262 process. You will implement bootloaders, hypervisor integration, and OS/BSP-level functionality while ensuring MISRA compliance.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers in a safety-critical environment, expanding your expertise in embedded architectures, safety standards, and platform technologies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in embedded or low-level software development.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills in embedded environments.
• Experience with ISO 26262 software development and safety-compliant processes.
• Experience with SoC-based platforms and low-level software components.
• Communicative English enabling collaboration within international teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop safety-relevant low-level software for SoC-based automotive platforms within ISO 26262.
• Implement and review software components including bootloaders, hypervisor integration layers, and OS/BSP-level functionality.
• Implement and verify safety mechanisms (MPU configuration, error handling, watchdog management).
• Maintain traceability between requirements, implementation, verification, and tests.
• Contribute to software unit design, interface documentation, and code reviews with MISRA compliance.
