Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Poland is seeking an embedded Linux specialist to join the Common Linux team. You will help develop and maintain Yocto-based distributions across multiple product lines and hardware platforms.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience with embedded Linux development, covering user space and/or kernel space work.
• Familiarity with the Yocto Project or a comparable Linux build framework such as Buildroot.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming with Bash and Python.

Responsibilities

• Integrating and maintaining embedded Linux software across existing hardware platforms and kernels.
• Contributing to user-space tooling and automated tasks using Bash and Python.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide Linux expertise across product lines.
• Improving internal Linux processes, testing pipelines, and technical documentation.
• Growing into platform architecture and long-term Linux strategy.
